Reklis German Shepherds began with a simple belief: great dogs are raised as part of a great family.
I'm Michael Reklis, a former United States Coast Guard Military Working Dog Handler, and my wife, Kenna, spent more than a decade as a veterinary technician. Together, we've built our lives around dogs—through training, veterinary medicine, rescue, and, most importantly, raising them as members of our family.
Our four kids are growing up alongside our dogs, and that's exactly how our puppies begin life. They're born inside our home, raised around children, and exposed to the sights and sounds of everyday family life from the very beginning.
Our goal isn't to produce the most puppies. It's to produce dogs that become trusted companions, loyal protectors, and cherished members of the families who bring them home.

Everything we do is centered around raising dogs that fit naturally into family life—dogs that are confident, dependable, and happiest wherever their people happen to be.
Every breeding decision we make is guided by one simple question:
"Would we be proud to have this dog in our own home?"
If the answer is no, we keep looking until the answer is yes.
